The Firelight 150 is an extremely compact, ultra-lightweight, down sleeping bag for summer trekking and emergency use. It weighs a mere 440 g including its stuff sack and occupies a volume under 4 litres when stuffed.

Its performance comes from the incredibly high-lofting, 900 fill-power, Polish goose down and the box-wall baffle construction throughout. The Firelight is made from a high-quality, 15 denier, Japanese-produced fabric whilst the foot area is protected by a Pertex Endurance water-resistant fabric.

We will be direct here: the Firelight 150 is a very marginal sleeping bag – most lightweight down jackets have more fill than this. Nonetheless, it has a number of surprising uses. In hot climates, temperatures can often dip into the single digits. It is so small it makes an excellent emergency or survival bag as insurance if caught out. Adventure racers looking to keep their loads to a minimum (and are required to carry a sleeping bag), will happily suffer less in one of these than having nothing at all.
